the latest Modern Bebe Rocker Items

Love that I finally had the opportunity to revamp Coen's 1st Birthday party into a Girl's ROCK theme with some zebra, shades of pink and a whole lot of glitter!
Currently working on 4 custom packages in this theme and I haven't even had the opportunity to post it in my Etsy shop yet! Here's a peek at some of the new items, all customizable!

As we roll into the Christmas season it was a fun start to the week with these two custom designs! We have our humorous crowd giving a STOCK THE BAR shower for a couple who are huge fans of themed parties for the 'I'm on A Boat' SNL skits and a GLAM 30th birthday celebration!


Thrilled about a Sip and Shop Wine Tasting hosted by Modern Bebe along with some local vendors and Stella and Dot -- pics to come!

What a fun year it's been with you girls with the opening of Anniegogglyn KIDS and the fabulous success ya'll are having with both stores!!

Just wanted to post a few projects to show what's been happening, the top design is a billboard of the KIDS shop that was displayed in 6 locations around San Antonio, photography by Robert Shaw. Currently you can take a peek out your window if you are stopped in traffic at the Quarry and feast your eyes on some cutie patooties and be reminded to stop in and shop at Anniegogglyn and Anniegogglyn KIDS off Broadway or at their website shopanniegogglyn.com.
Bottom left is a design for one of the fabulous private shopping party invitations and to the right are signs that were designed for the local JLSA Ole Market Days they recently participated in!

Phew.....

Going from 100 Etsy sales in one fiscal year to almost tripling that amount along with local freelance design work, a preschooler and a traveling toddler I'm finding that envisioned balance of being a stay-at-home mom and working out of the home more challenging than ever in this past year. I thank God each day for the blessings He's given to our family by providing for this crazy lifestyle we choose and find comfort in many of my most favorite designers' blogs as they too struggle with the separation of workspace and home as a mom. ♥ ♥
It's very common to see me put off laundry to have a coffee in hand at my desktop answering emails to prep for the night of design with just a bit of time in the morning and through nap time -- from about 9 p.m. on you know where to find me :) This has been such a great journey and I'm most excited to post many of my new projects including the top selling items in my Etsy shop of the modern approach to the fun colors of Dr. Seuss!

Here's a sneak peak at what will soon be added to the ever-so-talented list of Real Parties at ProjectNursery.com, I'll also be reaching out to online party planning sites as well so we'll see where this adventure takes us!

Melamine Plate Designs

This has been such a FUN project with endless possibilites!! A wonderfully loyal client is a huge fan of these plates so we have been collaborating on some designs that she gives as gifts at birthday parties, every mom and child LOVES getting their hands on one of these. Such a practical and cute gift for a baby shower, birthday and for CHRISTMAS! Thank you Emily -- I have my own personal projects lined up for these cute items!

The designs are 10 inches and can be customized in font/color/background and image desired. Once you have your final proof then you send it off to production at any photocenter that carries these items.

ohhh.... the party packages!!

Here is one of the latest... This client purchased the custom invitation, highchair banner, favor tags, cupcake toppers, centerpiece, 'happy birthday' banner, and a coordinating fabric birthday hat!

Custom Party Packages take about a week to process so be sure to contact a month to a month in a half before the party to start your planning process!

Announcing JACK!

It's been a few weeks since I've done a birth announcement - miss how much joy these bring me!

Jack reminds me so much of my boys as a newborn! I've had the privilege to work with Heather and Ryan once more, they both like simiplicty so we let the card just be about.... Jackson!

MOPS Kids ROCK tees and onesies

This has been such a fun project! A collaborated idea with Sam Davis, the director of MOPS 13 CBC Fellowship, we came up with this design to fundraise for our MOPS ladies! Not only did they turn out adorable and I can't wait for my boys to sport them but look at this cutie patootie model, Christian!

A little crafting from here and there....

Not only is this the busiest month for Modern Bebe.... it's also my oldest son's birthday in two weeks! As I try to incorporate as much Modern Bebe custom designs into the party and promote some fellow Etsy sellers, I've been quite the busy bee! There are so many inspirations out there like karaspartyideas.blogspot.com, Project Nursery.com and the wonderful ideas my past clients have shared with me on their Suess themed parties that I created for that I'm on overload with daily projects!

Snack Time!

It's been a fabulous summer... but finally a routine to get Modern Bebe back to working a little in the daylight! Brody will be starting his preschool classes next week, so all of the mommies got stocked up on little snack stickers for the lunches at school for snacktime!

A Sneek Peek at Brody's Suesstastical 3rd Birthday!

In the wee hours of the night is when the planning happens for my little guy's BIG THREE! As I embark upon my third year at being at home with my precious and rambunctious boys I prayed for a direction that would give me the ability to stay at home with my children & still provide for my family.

MODERN BEBE is in high gear!

So many exciting things to share in 2010! Modern Bebe was the featured party on ProjectNursery.com in their newsletter and is currently the designer for two local boutiques in the Alamo Heights area, Anniegogglyn and Anniegogglyn KIDS. I've had the opportunity to play an active role in helping a handful of businesses with their logos and marketing tools as well as give back to the community at local benefits and designing fundraiser t-shirts for Community Bible's MOPS 13 Women's Fellowship. A big portion of Modern Bebe's design work has gone towards the new hot trend of custom birthday parties, this has been such a fun adventure creating items from invitations, banners, cupcake toppers, favor tags and so much more!

I am now offering a fabulous line of Business Card finishes from spot gloss to foil finishes on silk, plastic and cotton cards -- these are a must see! Contact me if you would like to setup a consult to see these products!
